Former principal resolves charges of failing to report abuse
October 20, 2014
The former Sharpstown High School principal charged nearly a year ago withfailing to properly reportsuspected sexual abuse involving a teacher and students will have a clean record if he steers clear of trouble this year under a deal reached Monday.
Harris County Court-at-Law Judge Natalie Fleming signed off on the agreement, which did not require the former principal, Rob Gasparello, to enter a plea of guilt or innocence. It was a quiet end to a case that garnered high-profile attention from Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson last November.
