Under the leadership of Rusty Hardin, the firm has assembled a diverse group of professionals.
Three of our nine lawyers began their careers in the criminal courts as state prosecutors. Two, including Rusty, regularly defend people and institutions charged with criminal offenses. Six of our lawyers practice only civil trial work, while Rusty and two others, Andy Drumheller and Derek Hollingsworth, handle both civil and criminal matters. Throughout our practice, the common thread remains our passion and expertise in representing people and institutions
In addition to Rusty's thirty-one years of trial experience, our attorneys range in experience from seven to sixteen years in various types of trial practice. We are experienced in both state and federal civil and criminal law, and we are qualified to handle all appeals.
Above all, we are inspired by and always mindful of Rusty's passion for and belief in juries:
"I worship at the shrine of juries and love the challenge of persuading a group of strangers to see my client's point of view," says Rusty. "I love the fact that ordinary citizens get an opportunity to be jurors. We ask these twelve strangers to decide what happened in a given situation that they know nothing about, based upon what a few people they've never met before tell them. Then we ask them to agree on what happened, sometimes unanimously, and decide on the appropriate societal response. It is the most fascinating and rewarding experience in the world."
