Five Rusty Hardin & Associates Lawyers Named to 2018 Texas Super Lawyers List

HOUSTON — Four partners and one lawyer of counsel with Rusty Hardin & Associates, LLP earned selection to the 2018 Texas Super Lawyers list of outstanding attorneys for their litigation, criminal defense, and appellate work.

Honoree and firm founder Rusty Hardin also made the list of Top 100 lawyers in Texas and Top 100 in Houston. Widely known as an exceptional trial lawyer who practices both criminal and civil law, Mr. Hardin has been on the list every year since 2003. He is recognized for his business litigation work this year.

Firm partners Andy Drumheller, Derek Hollingsworth, and Joe Roden were also selected for the 2018 listing. Mr. Drumheller, who handles complex commercial litigation for oil and gas companies as well as other businesses, is being honored for his general litigation expertise. Mr. Hollingsworth earned recognition for his criminal defense achievements, and Mr. Roden made the list for his appellate work. Of counsel Terry D. Kernell was recognized for his business litigation skills.

Super Lawyers is owned by Thomson Reuters and uses a patented selection process for its annual guide to top lawyers. Attorneys must be nominated by their peers. A research team then reviews their professional achievements, background, and other details, with a blue-ribbon panel making the final selection. No more than 5 percent of attorneys in a state are included in the listing.

The complete list of Texas lawyers selected for 2018 will be published in the Texas edition of Super Lawyers magazine and in Texas Monthly in October.

Rusty Hardin & Associates, LLP has built a solid reputation for taking on the causes of its clients and obtaining favorable results in both civil matters and significant criminal cases.
