HOUSTON — In recognition of its courtroom achievements last year, Rusty Hardin & Associates, LLP, has been selected as a Litigation Department of the Year honoree in 2016 by the publishers of Texas Lawyer newspaper.
In determining which Texas-based litigation firms should be recognized for the prestigious award, Texas Lawyer reviewed various law firms' major victories and important cases from 2015.
“It goes without saying that we have lots of amazing firms in Texas, so we had difficult decisions to make,” Texas Lawyer noted in announcing the honorees.
Hardin and Associates was one of only two firms honored in its category of small litigation firms.
The category is usually dominated by firms that do only civil work. Rusty Hardin & Associates is unique for a small boutique in that it regularly handles civil, appellate, and criminal litigation. The firm is often involved in high-profile litigation that gains statewide or national attention. Though Hardin's name is known nationally, he prides himself in the astounding group of litigators he works with at the firm.
“We have a tremendous group of talented and dedicated individuals, and we are truly honored for our firm to receive this important recognition from Texas Lawyer,” says Rusty Hardin, the firm's founder. “We are trial lawyers first and foremost, and we strive to secure the most favorable results for our clients. This award is an acknowledgement of their hard work.”
An event for the 2016 honorees will be held Nov. 1 at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.
