Rusty Hardin & Associates Recognized by Texas Access to Justice Commission for Outstanding Fundraising Efforts

HOUSTON – For the second consecutive year, Rusty Hardin & Associates is being honored as a top fundraising contributor in the boutique-size law firm category in the Champions of Justice Firm Competition.

The annual event is part of the Justice for All fundraising campaign benefitting the Texas Access to Justice Commission (TAJC) which focuses on providing legal support and services to those in need while also improving the quality of justice in civil legal matters for low-income Texans.

Funds generated from the campaign are distributed to civil legal aid organizations throughout the state through grants by TAJC and the Texas Bar Foundation.

To be named a Champions of Justice Firm honoree, law firms must raise a certain amount of money as determined by their size and have the highest total dollar amount or the highest percentage of contributing attorneys within their respective category. Winners are then determined by tabulating total contributions made by the firm’s lawyers in support of the campaign.

“Our lawyers are passionate individuals,” said Rusty Hardin. “Passionate about their clients, about the work they do, and most importantly, in the belief that every person, regardless of their socioeconomic background, is deserving of equal access to justice.”

Rusty Hardin & Associates will be featured along with other Champion honorees in the October issue of the Texas Bar Journal.

Created by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2001, TAJC is the leading source of legal aid in Texas. To learn more about the organization and its mission, visit https://texasatj.org/what-access-justice.
